What is Rolly Pollies Dance?

Dance Classes at Rolly Pollies allow children to experience the wonderful world of dance in a non-competitive, positive, and fun atmosphere with a caregiver. Dance basics, games, stories, creative movement, age appropriate moves and music are incorporated into these unique and specially designed classes.

Meet Our Teacher
Ms Sonya

Ms Sonya has over 22 years of teaching experience in performing arts and fitness and has taught both in Maine and in New Brunswick, Canada. She is a former Performing Arts and fitness studio owner for 14.5 years in Fort Kent, Maine where she taught children ages 18 months through adults. She coached the Fort Kent Community High School Dance Team for 13 years and Sonya was the official 10th Mountain Dance team coach and choreographer for the IBU World Cup in Fort Kent in 2004. She was a dance/gymnastics program developer at the St. Francis Maine Recreation Department and taught Gymnastics at a public elementary school "Ecole Ernest Lang" in St. Francois N.B. Canada for two years. She is an award winning choreographer at multiple talent shows and competitions in the US and Canada and has also judged for a variety of different competitions internationally.
Sonya and her family has moved from Fort Kent Maine to Western New York in 2014, and has dedicated her life to being an international performing arts and fitness advocate. Sonya has a passion for inspiring youth and joined the Rolly Pollies family in 2016.
