Rolly Pollies Gym Classes FAQ

Getting started:

How does enrollment at Rolly Pollies work? Do I need to wait for a start date?
No need to wait!  At Rolly Pollies, your child can start as soon as there is space available in their class!
We offer monthly rolling enrollment, so there is no waiting for a session or season to begin.  Your child stays enrolled from month to month, giving them the consistency they need to build confidence, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships.
Your child's spot is automatically reserved each month unless you decide it's time to take a break.
What's the easiest way to sign my child up?
The fastest way is to register here online through our website, but you are always welcome to call or stop by your preferred location. Our Roll Models love helping families find the perfect class.
How do I know which class is right for my child?
Our classes are organized by age and developmental stage, beginning at just 4 months old.
Not sure where to start?  We'd love to help. Give us a call and we'll help you find the class that's just right for your child.
At what age can my child start their Rolly Pollies adventure?
Children can begin as early as 4 months in our Caterpillars Gym Class, Messy Baby, and Music Classes.
It is never too early to start moving, learning, and building confidence.  Most parents tell us they wish they started their adventure sooner!
Are your classes grown-up + child?
Yes!  All of our classes through age 3 include grown-up participation.
You'll be right there supporting, encouraging, and celebrating every milestone together.  Beginning at age 4, classes become grown-up optional.  You are welcome to participate, watch from the viewing area, or drop your child off.
Can we try a class before signing up?
Yes!
We offer free trial classes so your family can experience Rolly Pollies before enrolling.  We think you'll love it!

Class Experience and Progress:

What learning and growth will I see?
You'll notice it week after week.
More confidence. New skills. Greater independence. Bigger smiles.
Our Roll Models intentionally build your child's development each week, and we are always happy to talk with you about your child's progress and celebrate new accomplishments.
Can I bring other family or friends to watch my child's class?
We encourage it!
We know that your child has a lot of fans, so we never limit the number of grown-ups at Rolly Pollies. Grown-up participation will put you right in the action, while our viewing area offers a great place for family and friends to cheer them on.
When will my child move up to the next class?
As your child grows and develops, we'll guide you to the next class at the right time.
We consider age, development, confidence, and readiness to ensure every transition is exciting and successful.

Weather and Closures:

Does Rolly Pollies ever close?
We close for select holidays and some scheduled breaks throughout the year.
We'll always communicate closures well in advance so your family can plan ahead.
What happens when the weather is bad?
If we need to close for safety or due to severe weather, we will notify you by email and social media.
Missed classes will receive make-up tokens.

Tuition and Payments:

How does tuition work?
Tuition is billed monthly, making enrollment simple, convenient, and predictable.
Your card on file is automatically charged on the 1st of each month to reserve your child's spot for the month.
What if my payment doesn't go through?
No worries.  If your payment is declined for any reason, we'll reach out with a reminder or to help you update your payment information so your child's spot can remain reserved.
Do you offer sibling or multi-class discounts?
Yes!  We offer generous sibling discounts and flexible multi-class pricing because we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive at Rolly Pollies.
Why is tuition the same every month?
To keep things simple!  Depending on the class plan you choose, you'll know exactly what to expect, making it easy to budget for.
Some months include four classes, other include five, and our calendar includes two scheduled one-week breaks each year so our Roll Models can rest and refresh!
Plus, all enrolled families enjoy unlimited weekly classes in July and August at no additional cost, making summer an incredible value
How do I discontinue my enrollment?
You are always in control of your enrollment.
If you decide it's time to take a break, simply click "Drop" in your Parent Portal before the end of the month.
Your monthly tuition is processed on the 1st to reserve your child's spot in class.  As long as you submit your drop request before then, your child will finish the month you've already paid for, and no future tuition will be charged.
Can we switch classes if my schedule changes?
Of course!
If another class has availability, we will gladly help you switch to a day or time that works better for your family.

Preparing for Class:

When should we arrive for class?
Arriving 5 minutes early gives your child time to settle and get ready for our popular hello song.
What if we're running late?
No problem, come on in!  We'll help your child jump right into the learning and fun.
What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable play clothes are best, something they can tumble, climb, and roll in.  Bare feet keep everyone safe on the equipment.
What should we bring along?
A water bottle and lots of energy!  (Your regular diaper bag too!)  We've got the rest covered!

Attendance and Scheduling:

What if my child misses a class?
Life happens!  We offer make-up classes, so your child doesn't miss out.  You will receive a make-up token that can be used to schedule another class while you're actively enrolled.
Do you offer make-ups if we can't make it one week?
Yes!  Make-up classes are available while your child is actively enrolled, as space allows. You can easily schedule them using a make-up token through your parent portal!
Planning to be away?  Let us know ahead of time and we'll be happy to issue your token before you miss a class.
What if my child is sick and needs time off?
If you or your child isn't feeling well, please stay home and rest.
When you are feeling better, simply use your make-up token to schedule another class.
